The Woodstock Music and Art Fair opened on 15 August 1969 in a pasture in upstate New York. Two dozen bands came to play on a wooden stage in the middle of a pasture.

Unlike their albums of the past decade, there isn't a single mellow song on this new release. It is simple flat out full throttle metal guitar with the hardest drumming Lars Ulrich has turned out in years. This album is all about, hard and fast, straight down-to-business heavy metal.

The Beatles may well be arguably the worlds biggest ever band. Musically from the early 1960's to the end of their career they covered an array of different music styles from the jangly pop of their early days to the psychedelia of their latter albums.
