On 25 April 1962, the first issue of The Incredible Hulk comics debuted on newsstands. The series about Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, who is accidentally exposed to gamma radiation, was written by Stan Lee and drawn by Jack Kirby.

Finally, after more than 2 years in development, a full-length feature film called The Hulk, a mix of live-action and CGI for the Hulk, is scheduled for release on June 20, 2003. This cast includes Eric Bana (Dr. Bruce Banner), Jennifer Connelly (Betty Ross), Sam Elliott (General "Thunderbolt" Ross), Mike Erwin (Teenage Bruce Banner), Lou Ferrigno (cameo), Brooke Langton (Jennifer Sossman), Josh Lucas (Glenn Talbot), and Nick Nolte (Bruce's father).
