Remember these musical introductions to some of the most popular “back-in-the-day” television shows?? These “Themes To Remember,” so to speak! They are the themes to some of our favorite television shows. Hope you enjoyed them as much as we once did!

MANNIX

Mannix was detective series that ran from 1967 to 1975 on CBS. It was created by Richard Levinson and William Link, and developed by executive producer Bruce Geller. The title character, Joe Mannix, was a private investigator played by actor Mike Connors and his secretary, who played by Gail Fisher. With 194 popular episodes airing over eight full seasons, Mannix finished its series run in the Nielsen “Top 20” ratings chart.

The theme for the Mannix series was composed by the acclaimed pianist, arranger and conductor Lalo Schifrin. Other compositions created by Schifrin include the “Theme from Mission: Impossible“, and the scores to Cool Hand Luke, Bullitt, THX 1138, Enter the Dragon, The Four Musketeers, Voyage of the Damned, The Eagle Has Landed, The Amityville Horror, and the Rush Hour trilogy.
