Retrowarehouse is excited that we and our good friend, Sully, are announcing the launch of Bijou-Q Cinema, a project inspired by the social distancing imposed on us by the invasion of Covid-19 into our lives. Our new project is a five-days-per-week matinee film screening on the Facebook Live platform.
AKA Bijou-Q(uarantine) Cinema and BQCinema, these events start on Sunday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m.
Detailed weekly line-ups of films screened on Bijou-Q Cinema are posted in this Calendar, which is color coded by genre.
Stream Facebook to your large screen smart TV, watch on your computer, or consume our live events on your mobile device. The fun will be the same not matter which device you’re using.
To make these Facebook Live screening events more interactive, we also created a social activity to accelerate the fun of watching some of the greatest movies ever made. This activity is called the Bijou-Q Cinema Drinking+Sharing Game, a modified version of the popular drinking games model. Extensive information about the game and its associated guidelines are listed in the infographic below. You can download the Game House Rules “Cheat Sheet” here.
Also, we’re posting a delectable beverage recipe from time to time. The first one specifically associated with Bijou-Q Cinema is the “True-Blue” Blueberry-Banana Smoothie, which celebrates our launch (click here to see the recipe). These beverages will be a wonderful alternative to alcoholic beverages and you get to add a new recipe to your collection, to boot!

The Bijou-Q Cinema Facebook Live film screening events take place five day per week — Sundays at 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and Monday through Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (ET)
