Torifan’s review: Okay, being that I am a big kid at heart, I love the Disney movies, especially anything Pixar makes. I remember seeing the previews of this one with a friend of mine and we both agreed it looked good. It was even better than our expectations. This film had great animation (I think Pixar gets better with each film), a nice story (father looking for his lost son-a clownfish), and it was very, very funny. I am always up for a laugh, and this movie had the type of innocent laughs we all need from time to time. Ellen DeGeneres was especially great as the voice of another fish who travels with the main character to find his son. At one point they encounter a whale and she begins speaking whale. I laughed so hard, I almost had tears in the eyes. Very funny stuff! Maybe it was just me as I tend to like silly stuff like that. As far as Pixar films go, this one is equal to the others in terms of quality, story, and animation. Monsters, Inc. is still my favorite Pixar film, because I love the monsters in the closet idea, but Finding Nemo was a clever take on life underwater. Even if you're not a kid, I think you'd enjoy this film.
